New England landscape photographer Kevin Howell Curcuru captured the magic of an idyllic autumn evening in the foothills of New Hampshire’s rugged scenery.

Known as ‘Oldmotem’ for ‘Old Man of the Mountain’ after the Great Stone Face of Franconia, NH the famous lost landmark that stood watchful sentinel over untold seasons, Kevin Howell Curcuru specialized in capturing the magic and nostalgia of light across the lands he loved.

Artful and eclectic editing styles using the most technologically advanced tools was a hallmark of KHC’s late era aesthetic, to celebrate this his daughter Emme Chatterton created this posthumous collaboration. Using his own signature techniques, KHC’s original photograph was edited to recreate the old-fashioned romance of a watercolor painting in Emme Chatterton’s personal dreamy nostalgic style.

Together, father and daughter evoke the timeless painted heavens over a meandering river on a warm autumnal New Hampshire evening.
